In April of 2000, our founders recognized a demand in the community bank and credit union markets for a software company that would be a true business partner and deliver on its commitments. We’ve taken advantage of the Centrix positive pay program for both the check and ACH solutions. We brought them in with the Exact/TMS product which integrates with our core so it allows us to put the checks at the teller line. Tim Schnell, Centrix Solutions co-founder, is responsible for day-to-day company operations, defining strategic policy and direction and managing major customer partnerships. In leading Centrix Solutions, Mr. Schnell leverages his broad experience in the information technology industry, in which he has held senior positions within companies that include Fiserv and CubeSoft. Prior to forming Centrix Solutions, he was a technology consultant focusing on systems integration projects that encompassed client server, Internet and legacy architectures. In addition, he has substantial expertise in the evaluation, development, and implementation of integrated software solutions.
Jeff Asselin, Centrix Solutions co-founder, oversees the company’s system development projects, defines new product initiatives and plays a key role in the strategic direction of the company. He has over 20 years of experience in the information technology field, with an emphasis in the financial industry. Prior to forming Centrix Solutions, he worked as a technology consultant and as an application development manager at Information Technology, Inc. (ITI), one of the nation’s leading financial technology providers. His experience delivering technology solutions from conception through implementation provides invaluable insight for the company’s technology initiatives.
Brad Johnson oversees all of the company’s sales and marketing initiatives. In addition, Mr. Johnson acts as a client relationship manager and is integral in defining strategic policy and direction. Prior to joining Centrix Solutions, Mr. Johnson spent 20 years in various capacities in the financial technology industry, holding senior positions in sales, product management, training, installation and support. He possesses a thorough understanding of bank operations, eCommerce and real-time transactional processing in both client server and legacy environments.
Steve Bartels is responsible for customer service initiatives. In addition, Mr. Bartels plays a key role in defining guidelines for custom development projects, is active in project management and is integral in defining strategic policy and direction. Prior to joining Centrix Solutions, Mr. Bartels spent several years managing application development in the insurance industry and has over 20 years of experience developing, installing and supporting software for the financial industry. His expertise encompasses Microsoft and Oracle database architecture, client/server development and .NET application development.
